Quota for women and self-deception

In a blog entry of PickiHH the tiresome topic of "women's quota" I had to read today morning, once again the old fairy tale of "men talk" that would supposedly prevalent at management level ("carpets days") of companies. What? "Men talk"? What your supposed to be? The drivel in the upper "carpets days" is for men who do not belong right from the start, just as incomprehensible as for women. It is both a self-deception and a false blame, this is due to the gender role as a woman. In any case, the differences in thinking among individuals often much stronger than that one between "gender" to be tempted.

I had in my career to do far too often with women in senior positions, the intricacies of the "carpet-talk" at least as well controlled as their male counterparts, usually even better.
